Farewell Uncle Chantz

My brother Chantz left for his mission Sept 23rd. This was a very hard time for me and you can see me emotions in one of the pics. It makes me so sad to think that when he gets home Tegan will be 3 1/2 and we might have another bundle of joy (no not an announcement). I have no doubt though that he is where he needs to be! He will and is a fantastic missionary! And you can tell by the wonderful news that he gave us....He is doing his first baptizm December 1st! If you would like updates on Elder Whipple I have created a blog for him. I haven't done well keeping it updated (same on here too) but I hope to get this one up to date and do his. Go here to check it out! Elder Whipple with the missionaries in our area. Elder Clawson and Piquette (spelling is wrong) they are awesome missionaries! This is when he was set apart as an elder.

Tegan Needs His Own Apron

Tegan is a funny kid! The first few pics Tegan was helping me make chocolate chip cookies for Uncle Chantz's mission farewell. While mixing in the flour he had his head down by the mixer and as I added the flour it went "poof" all over Tegan. It was hilarious and Tegan was laughing hysterically. You can kinda see the flour all over him. And when I went to grab something he was reaching his hands in and was chowing down on the cookie dough. He started with just a little with his little fingers and then we was going at full force with his hands full. He takes after me lol

Tegan wanted to be like me and wear my apron (I made it with the help of my mother-in-law). I am now going to make him his own for christmas.

4th Anniversary

The view from our hotel room

I can't believe we made it to 4 years of marriage. What a fun and interesting 4 years it has been lol We celebrated by going to our favorite restuarant, Texas Roadhouse. Thanks to a friend we were able to stay at the Radisson hotel in SLC. She got us a fantastic room at a great price. The next morn we had breakfast and went to a few church sites in the area. A sister missionary told us about the Art Exhibit that was going on at the Conference Center so we went to check it out. They art was amazing! I wanted to buy some of them. But I thought that taking a picture would have to do. We were stupid and didn't take any pics of us so this is what I decided to do on our way home.

An amazing quilt! I didn't even know this could be done

Dang glare! This one was gorgeous. It is a painting of Christ as a newborn

You will have to click on the pic to see how funny it is.

This one was my all time favorite. This is painting of Eden in the Garden of Eden. The artist thought that Christ can do anything so he he didn't think that they were left to use leaves as clothing. I love to see Eden through his eyes. Fantastic!

Thanks babe for a fantastic 4 years! Thanks Mom and Dad (and Kylie) for watching Tegan for us!

Summa Time

I only got the pool out a few times this summer but Tegan enjoyed it every time. On this particular day we invited Tay and her son to come swim with us.

Thanksgiving Point Dinosaur Museum

We as a family decided to go the Dinosaur Museum during th $2 Tuesdays in August. Tegan had lots of fun even though it was crazy crowded. We will have to go some other time, but I am not pleased with the price. Tegan loved this part

**Sorry the pics are blurry again.**

Thanksgiving Point Farm Country

I jumped at the chance to take Tegan to the Farm Country when Thanksgiving Point had their $2 Tuesdays in August. I went with my friend Tay and her son Sean and with Stefanie and her kids Anna and Aiden. Tay Sean Me and Tegan

I love this pic! He is a HANDSOME little guy!

watching the llamas

he got a little too close and was almost eating my hair at one point

Tegan is telling me how COOL the animals are lol
And somehow I didn't get a pic with Stef. The battery in my camera decided that it was "exhausted" about halfway through the trip. Darn it!
